Basketball Game Preview: Unalakleet Wolfpack vs. Bethel Warriors

The Unalakleet Wolfpack will venture away from home to take on the Bethel Warriors at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Unalakleet will be strutting in after a victory while Bethel will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, Unalakleet made easy work of Alakanuk and carried off a 56-35 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolfpack.

Meanwhile, Bethel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 51-35 fall against Nikiski.

The victory got Unalakleet back to even at 2-2. As for Bethel, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Unalakleet came up short against Bethel in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 49-43. Can the Wolfpack avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
