Volleyball Recap: Wickliffe Comes Up Short

Wickliffe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Chagrin Falls Tigers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-17, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Brooke Babic, who had 14 assists and four digs. Those four digs gave her a new career-high.

Wickliffe's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Chagrin Falls, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wickliffe is set to face off against their familiar foe Berkshire at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chagrin Falls will challenge rival Kirtland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
