Volleyball Recap: Millersport Comes Up Short

If Millersport was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bishop Rosecrans on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lakers came up short against the Grove City Christian Eagles on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Lakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-15.

Grove City Christian was led to victory by Kelsey Kennedy and Laney Lytle. Kennedy had nine digs and three aces, while Lytle had seven digs. Those three aces gave Kennedy a new career-high.

Millersport's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Grove City Christian, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6.

Millersport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grove City Christian, they will take on Madison Plains in a tournament on Tuesday.
