Volleyball Recap: Fayetteville Christian's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Fayetteville Christian lost against Village Christian Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell 3-1 to the Knights.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 18-25, 25-19, 25-9.

Village Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Maxine Honrada, who had 25 digs. Zoey Henry also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Fayetteville Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-5. As for Village Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fayetteville Christian will take on rival Northwood Temple Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Village Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Fayetteville Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
