Cassie Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
After soaring to a 39-point victory in their last game, Berean Christian Academy came back down to earth on January 8th. They fell just short of Lighthouse Christian by a score of 49-46. It was the first time this season that Berean Christian Academy let down their fans at home.
The win got El Dorado Christian back to even at 10-10. As for Berean Christian Academy, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.
El Dorado Christian took a serious blow against Berean Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 59-17. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point El Dorado Christian was down 30-2.
