Baseball Game Preview: Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves vs. Brooklyn Hurricanes

For the second straight game, Cuyahoga Heights will face off against Brooklyn. The Red Wolves will host the Hurricanes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cuyahoga Heights has three straight victories, Brooklyn has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Wednesday, Cuyahoga Heights beat Brooklyn 6-2.

Brooklyn's batters probably weren't too happy with Nathan Tommer, who pitched a no hitter and racked up seven Ks (he gave up a single walk).

On the hitting side, Cuyahoga Heights' win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was MacGowan Rott, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Cuyahoga Heights hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brooklyn struck out 13 times.

Cuyahoga Heights' victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Brooklyn, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
