Volleyball Recap: Attleboro Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Attleboro had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Durfee on Monday. The Bombardiers blew past the Hilltoppers 3-0. The Bombardiers were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Hilltoppers, so the Bombardiers were just returning the favor.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-23.

Daequan Black paced Attleboro's offense, picking up seven kills. Black got some help from Dairy Morataya and his 15 assists. Tito De Jesus Yusti and Elijah Sye kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Attleboro's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Durfee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Attleboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against King Philip Regional on the 29th. As for Durfee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against North Quincy on the 30th.
