Basketball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 74-53 to the Valley Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 54-23 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Valley, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-52 victory against Linn-Mar on the 17th. As for Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-39 win against Urbandale on the 17th.
