East Lawrence had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-42 victory over the Danville Hawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-43 back in December of 2024.

East Lawrence is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Danville, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Lawrence will face off against Athens Bible at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Lawrence knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Athens Bible likes a good challenge. As for Danville, they will welcome West Morgan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
