Soccer Recap: Brandon Takes a Loss

Brandon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Madison Central Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Brandon of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Brandon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Madison Central, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

Brandon will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pearl at 7:15 p.m. on December 2. The contest will give Brandon their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Madison Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against New Albany on the 22nd.
