Basketball Recap: Jordan Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Jordan came tearing into Wednesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 113-13 win over the Hawkins Hawks. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 306th, while the Hawks are ranked 1305th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jordan's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.9 points per game. As for Hawkins, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will square off against Harbor Teacher at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Harbor Teacher will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Jordan surely won't give up without a fight.
