Baseball Recap: Liberty Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Liberty and Batesburg-Leesville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Liberty had to settle for second. They lost 11-1 to the Panthers.

Liberty saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Collins, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Liberty's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Batesburg-Leesville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Liberty nor Batesburg-Leesville have any future games scheduled.
