Soccer Recap: Charlotte Christian Takes a Loss

Charlotte Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Covenant Day Lions. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Charlotte Christian it sure didn't stay that way.

Charlotte Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Covenant Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Charlotte Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Charlotte Latin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Covenant Day will take on rival Charlotte Country Day School at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
