York is a perfect 10-0 against Jamestown since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Falcons will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. York is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.
On Friday, York made easy work of Lafayette and carried off a 19-6 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

York let Leslee Maldonado and Ella Thurman run wild. Maldonado went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI, while Thurman went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave Thurman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kenlee Washington, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: York kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jamestown, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over Smithfield on Friday.
Tenley Medlin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on two hits and racked up 14 Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Olivia 'Cookie' Lawrence, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs. Zoe Mayes (Marymount University) was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
York's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Jamestown, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. York has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Jamestown struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
York got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Jamestown by a conclusive 8-0 score. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
