 Henley is 10-0 against Mazama since May of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Henley Hornets will head out on the road to  square off against  the Mazama Vikings at 5:00  p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Henley has 13 straight  wins, Mazama has four straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 Henley stacked  a  13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They were the clear victor by  a  16-1 margin over Klamath Union. That's two games straight that Henley has won by  exactly 15  runs.
  Mark Carpenter was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits (and only one walk). Carpenter has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Carpenter was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in two of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Henley got a  massive  performance out of  Aiden Hayes, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  stolen base. Hayes has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last six times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Beau Pyle, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Mazama fell victim to Hidden Valley and their airtight pitching crew  on Saturday. They lost  8-0 to the Mustangs.
 Henley's victory was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 18-1. As for Mazama, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
Mazama's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Henley hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .372. It's a different story for Mazama, though, as  they've  only  averaged .177. Will they be able to contain Henley's hitters?
 Everything went Henley's way against Mazama in their previous matchup  two weeks ago as Henley made off with  an  18-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Henley since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
