Volleyball Recap: Panther Creek Catamounts vs. Green Hope Falcons
Panther Creek lost against Green Hope on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Catamounts came up short against the Falcons, falling 3-0. The Catamounts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-9.
Panther Creek's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cayleigh Brown, who had 14 digs and one assist. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Wahlmann, who had three digs and three aces.
Green Hope was led to victory by Andrea Munoz Gonzalez and Adara McCall. Munoz Gonzalez had five digs and three aces, while McCall had eight digs. That's the most aces Munoz Gonzalez has posted since September 8th. Bailey Mullins also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
Panther Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Green Hope, their win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1.
