Basketball Game Preview: Austin Panthers vs. Cameron County Raiders

Austin is 0-10 against Cameron County since December of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Austin Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Cameron County Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Austin took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They escaped with a win against Oswayo Valley by the margin of a single free throw, 45-44.

Meanwhile, Cameron County posted their biggest victory since January 22nd on Tuesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 62-22 win over Galeton. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Austin's victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Cameron County, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Austin was taken down by Cameron County 70-25 when the teams last played back in January. Can Austin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
