Basketball Recap: Carver A&T Piles Up the Points Against Owings Mills

There's no place like home for Carver A&T, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They took their contest on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 53-15 victory over the Owings Mills Golden Eagles. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wildcats had established a 29 point advantage.

Carver A&T got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Holman out in front who went 6 for 15 on her way to 17 points. Those 17 points gave Holman a new career-high. Jordan Carrington was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Carver A&T now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Owings Mills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3-1.

Carver A&T will take on Green Street Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Owings Mills, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Sparrows Point at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
