After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brookhaven, Wesson was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They skirted past the Bogue Chitto Bobcats 24-22. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cobras have posted since February 13, 2025.

Wesson's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Bogue Chitto, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Wesson will host Clinton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Arrows have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.57 runs per game on average), something the Cobras will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bogue Chitto, they will head out to square off against Brookhaven at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
