Basketball Recap: Hanford Takes a Loss

Hanford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Kamiakin Braves, falling 71-51. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-41 back in December of 2024.

Hanford's record is now 1-15. As for Kamiakin, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Hanford has already played their next matchup (against Southridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kamiakin will venture away from home to face off against Walla Walla at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Walla Walla knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Kamiakin likes a good challenge.
