Herriman entered their tilt with West Jordan on Saturday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Jaguars. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Jaguars last Tuesday, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Victoria Valenti paced Herriman's offense, picking up eight kills. Valenti got some help from Savannah Chase and her nine assists. Chase was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Jardine Faasipa and Tatiana Cortes certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Faasipa had 20 assists and five digs, while Cortes had ten digs and two aces. Faasipa is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 17 every time she's taken the court this season.

Herriman's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for West Jordan, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 9-5.

Herriman has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against American Fork on the 6th. As for West Jordan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Spanish Fork on the 6th.
