Basketball Game Preview: Cypress Park Tigers vs. Langham Creek Lobos

Cypress Park and Langham Creek are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Cypress Park Tigers will welcome the Langham Creek Lobos at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Langham Creek took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Cypress Park, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Cypress Park earned a 55-46 victory over Bridgeland.

Meanwhile, Langham Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-43 heartbreaker at the hands of Cypress Springs. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 475th, while the Panthers are ranked 119th).

Cypress Park's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Langham Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-19.

Cypress Park skirted past Langham Creek 48-46 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Does Cypress Park have another victory up their sleeve, or will Langham Creek turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
