Shawnee Mission East is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Bentonville. The Lancers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Lancers' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Molly McDonald paced Shawnee Mission East's offense, picking up ten kills. McDonald got some help from McGuire Alaina and her 17 assists.
