Soccer Game Preview: McBain vs. Oscoda

The McBain Ramblers will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Oscoda Owls at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. McBain's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

McBain is headed into Monday's match following a draw, the team's first since April 9. They and Tawas Area finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Oscoda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to Houghton Lake. Surprisingly, this marked Oscoda's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Oscoda's loss dropped their record down to 1-12-1. With that draw, McBain's record moves to 0-1-2.
