Basketball Recap: Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Takes a Loss

Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Sleepy Eye Indians, falling 70-40. The Mustangs lost against the Indians in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 70-64 score last time.

Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sleepy Eye, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sleepy Eye will take on Nicollet in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
