Volleyball Game Preview: Whale Branch Warriors vs. Hampton County Hurricanes

The Whale Branch Warriors will challenge the Hampton County Hurricanes at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Whale Branch came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Colleton County, falling 3-0. The Warriors have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Whale Branch took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Hampton County beat Barnwell 3-1 on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 22-25, 25-23, 25-14.

Whale Branch's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Hampton County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-3-1 record this season.
