Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wallington). They breezed past Paterson Arts & Science to the tune of 36-6 on Thursday. The Panthers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
A big part of Wallington's victory came down to the chemistry between Natalia Poweska and her top target Erin Albert. Poweska rushed for 53 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries while Albert picked up 101 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Wallington now has a winning record of 3-2.
Looking ahead, Wallington will challenge North Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paterson Arts & Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
