Morrow hadn't done well against Newnan recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Morrow Mustangs managed a 52-48 win over the Newnan Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Cougars back in January, they had to take a 53-51 loss.

Morrow got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Andre Jernigan out in front who posted 14 points. Shaun Davis was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Morrow's win bumped their record up to 8-17. As for Newnan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 18-8 record this season.
