Baseball Recap: Bartlett Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bartlett can now relate to. They fell just short of the South Elgin Storm by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Storm: they've now lost four in a row.

Bartlett saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Daubenmire, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 19-17-1. As for South Elgin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Bartlett nor South Elgin have any future games scheduled.
