Basketball Recap: Verbena Takes a Loss

Verbena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Fayetteville Wolves 41-3. The game marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Verbena's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Fayetteville, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10.

Verbena will face off against Autauga Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fayetteville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-28 loss against Autaugaville on the 15th.
