Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Port Isabel). They strolled past the Hebbronville Longhorns with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 73-55. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Hebbronville lost, don't look at Oscar Carrillo. Despite the final result, he posted 19 points. Carrillo's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Robert Gonzalez was another key player, putting up ten points.

Port Isabel is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Hebbronville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Port Isabel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 43-40 victory against McMullen County on the 28th. Hebbronville has also already played their next game, a 50-26 defeat against Agua Dulce on the 27th.
