Basketball Recap: Platte/Geddes Takes a Loss

Platte/Geddes won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Burke Cougars 62-18. The Black Panthers haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Platte/Geddes' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Burke, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Platte/Geddes will face off against Gayville-Volin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Burke, they will host Lyman at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
