Basketball Recap: Bushwick Takes a Loss

Bushwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 18-17 to Gaynor. The Tigers lost against Gaynor in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 44-10 score last time.

Bushwick's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gaynor, they moved to 1-2 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Bushwick will take on Adams Street Academy on Saturday. Adams Street Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bushwick surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gaynor, they will host Wingate on Saturday.
