Basketball Recap: South Panola Comes Up Short

South Panola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 69-46 to the Shades Valley Mounties.

South Panola's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Shades Valley, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the South Panola Tigers take on the DeSoto Central Jaguars at 2:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Shades Valley, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Caldwell County at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
