Basketball Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

Farmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Portsmouth Christian Academy Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Farmington nor Portsmouth Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
