Volleyball Recap: Central Academy of Technology & Arts Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Fiona Mollica and Ayelen Rodriguez + How To Watch

Central Academy of Technology & Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Mount Pleasant Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 24-26, 25-12.

Central Academy of Technology & Arts' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ayelen Rodriguez, who had 11 digs, and Fiona Mollica, who had 19 digs and three aces. Mollica has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Central Academy of Technology & Arts' loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Mount Pleasant, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season.
