Basketball Recap: Steele Comes Up Short

After flying high against Elyria last Saturday, Steele came back down to earth. The Steele Comets fell 52-43 to the Brunswick Blue Devils on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

Steele's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Brunswick, their victory bumped their record up to 7-15.

Steele and Brunswick could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Steele will take on Twinsburg at 7:00 p.m. on February 19th down 468 places (536 vs. 68). Meanwhile, Brunswick (ranked 321st) will meet St. Joseph Academy (ranked 77th) at 7:00 p.m. on February 19th.
