Basketball Recap: Saratoga Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fort Washakie last Friday, Saratoga came back down to earth. The Saratoga Panthers came up short against the Wind River Cougars on Saturday, falling 44-19. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Saratoga's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Wind River, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saratoga will host Cokeville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Cokeville will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Saratoga surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wind River, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wyoming Indian at 4:30 p.m.
