Softball Recap: Grand Rapids Takes a Loss

Grand Rapids was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-6 to the Proctor Rails. That's two games in a row now that the Thunderhawks have lost by exactly eight runs.

Grand Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Proctor, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Grand Rapids wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Marshall on the 13th. As for Proctor, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-1 loss against Cloquet on the 13th.
