Softball Recap: Northgate Takes a Loss

Northgate lost against Alhambra back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Broncos fell 6-1 to the Bulldogs.

Northgate saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taelyn Jriyasetapong, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Jriyasetapong has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played.

Northgate has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Alhambra, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Northgate will take on College Park at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Alhambra, they will face off against Clayton Valley Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ugly Eagles will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
