Soccer Recap: Bowie Victorious

Bowie's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They beat the Del Valle Cardinals by a goal, winning 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Evan Duranguet was the driving force of Bowie's attack as he scored both of Bowie's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Bowie's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Del Valle, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-1.

Bowie has already played their next match (against Dripping Springs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Del Valle will welcome Lake Travis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
