Cousino proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 11) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Fraser Ramblers 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Patriots have posted since May 3rd.

Cousino is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-13-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Fraser, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-15.

Cousino didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against De La Salle Collegiate on the 30th. Fraser does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
