Aliso Niguel barely beat Tesoro the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Titans on Friday. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Cooper Flemming made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Aliso Niguel let Carson Etnire and Austin Hays run wild. Etnire went 2-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Hays went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits Hays has posted since back in April.

Aliso Niguel has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Tesoro, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.

Aliso Niguel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tesoro, they are taking a road trip to challenge La Mirada at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
