Soccer Recap: Seneca Takes a Loss

If Seneca was feeling good fresh off their 6-2 takedown of Blue Ridge last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Seneca fell 4-2 to the Berea Bulldogs on Friday. The game was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Seneca couldn't quite close it out.

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Berea, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-5-1.

Looking ahead, Seneca will face off against Greer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca's defense better be ready for this one: Greer has averaged an impressive 5 goals per game this season. As for Berea, they will take on Carolina Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Berea will be up against Carolina Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.22 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
