Soccer Recap: Carroll's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

After flying high against Rensselaer Central on Saturday, Carroll came back down to earth. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kokomo Wildkats on Tuesday. Carroll were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than four goals in the three contests prior), but Kokomo's defense proved too tough.

Carroll moved to 6-8-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Kokomo, the win snapped their losing streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 3-10-1 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Carroll will square off against Wabash at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kokomo, they will take on Western at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
