James Osborne commands the offense for Conchs win

Recap: Key West Conchs vs. Coral Shores Hurricanes

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palmer Trinity, the Key West Conchs were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 60-49 win over Coral Shores. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Key West also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Key West to victory, but perhaps none more so than James Osborne, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of DeMarcus Deroche, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Key West has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Coral Shores, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Key West will square off against the Barracudas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coral Reef has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 329 points over their last five contests. As for Coral Shores, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Stallions at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games.
