Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Troy). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the La Salle Institute Cadets a 13-0 shutout on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Flying Horses, who have now won four games in a row.

Troy's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for La Salle Institute, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Troy will challenge rival Cohoes at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Flying Horses 3.7, the Tigers 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, La Salle Institute is set to square off against their familiar foe Catholic Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
