Basketball Recap: Hylton Comes Up Short

Hylton lost against Battlefield back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hylton Bulldogs took a blow against the Battlefield Bobcats, falling 55-28. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Raegan Cathcart was Hylton's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Cathcart also led the team in rebounds with eight.

Hylton's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Battlefield, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hylton will host Potomac Senior at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Battlefield, they will challenge Osbourn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
