Basketball Game Preview: Fulton Hornets vs. California Pintos

The Fulton Hornets just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the California Pintos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Fulton will head into Monday's contest out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They were outmatched by North County Christian and fell 73-45.

Meanwhile, California hadn't done well against Southern Boone recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. California came out on top against Southern Boone by a score of 50-43.

Fulton dropped their record down to 5-11 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for California, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-6.

Fulton came up short against California in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 56-43. Can Fulton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
