Head-Royce won the last time they faced Athenian and things went their way on Friday too. The Head-Royce Jayhawks came out on top against the Athenian Owls by a score of 58-51. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jayhawks.

Several Owls players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ali Algaal, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dario Beltramo, who had 11 points.

Head-Royce now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Athenian, they dropped their record down to 9-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Head-Royce has already played their next match, a 68-48 defeat against King's Academy on the 25th. As for Athenian, they are taking a road trip to face off against College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Athenian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.4 points per game this season.
